Stamford Station: Pedestrian Tunnel and Stairs Closed,
August 30-mid-November 2021
Starting August 30, there will be no access to the tunnel/underpass or stairs at Stamford station, as the Connecticut Department of Transportation performs work to repair and upgrade the passageway.
Please use the east and west end overpasses for access to and from the center island track platforms.

Stamford Transportation Center
The Stewart B. McKinney Transportation Center (also known as the Stamford Transportation Center) is located in downtown Stamford at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and South State Street. Owned by the Connecticut Department of Transportation and operated by Fusco Management Company, it is the second busiest station in the Metro-North Railroad system after Grand Central Terminal.
